Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur (by road)

Day 04:Jaipur (City Tour)

Early morning breakfast and proceed for an hour excursion to Amer Fort (built by Raja Man Singh in 1592, it is built in red sandstone and marble and the Maotha Lake adds a certain charm to the entire Fort. Though the fort is quite old and may even look so from the outside, it is beautiful on the inside and boasts of various buildings of prominence like the 'Diwan-i-Aam', the 'Sheesh Mahal' and even the 'Sukh Mahal'. The Amer Fort has influences of both Hindu and Muslim architecture. The structure has four different parts, each with a separate entrance. The main entry to the fort is through the 'Suraj Pol' or Sun Gate which opens up into the main courtyard. This east-facing gate is also the main entrance to the palace and its position with respect to the rising sun is the source of its name.) Enjoy elephant ride at Amer Fort. Drives pass Jal Mahal. Post noon visit to City Palace complex, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Over night at Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur - Agra (by road)

Early morning check out and proceed to Agra (4.5 hours) en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Old Deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) Jama Masjid, The Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal. Reach Agra and visit Red Fort (Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red stone beautifully carved and decorated with and paintings) Taj Mahal (the symbol of love built by emperor Shah Jahan in memory to his wife Mumtaj Mahal. Taj is among the seven wonders of the world ands also UNESCO World Heritage site.). Overnight at Agra.

Day 06: Agra – Jhansi (by train) – Orcha – Khajurho (by road)

Morning check out (07:00 hours) and transfer to Agra Cantt railway station to board Shatabdi Expres train to Jhansi. Reach Jhansi railway station and meet assistance. Drive to Khajuraho en-route visit Orchha. On arrival at Khajuraho check into hotel. Later enjoy the sound & light show in the evening. Overnight stay at Khajuraho.

Day 07: Khajuraho – Delhi (by train)

Morning visit the world famous erotic sculptures in Khajuraho that were built by the Chandela Kings between 95 and 1050 AD. The most important ones include the Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta, Vishvanath and Nandi Temples. Evening transfer to Jhansi Railway Station to board your Shatabdi Train to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi transfer to hotel. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 08: Delhi Departure

On time transfer to New Delhi International Airport to board your flight to onward destination.

Day 03: Darjeeling

Early morning trek to Tiger Hill to view the scenic sun rise (*Journey subject to a clear weather condition). While returning visit to Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. (The Batasia Loop is a spiral railway created to lower the gradient of ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. At this point, the track spirals around over itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop. It was commissioned in 1919.) . Return to your hotel / resort and have breakfast. Further proceed to explore visiting Japanese Temple, the Peace pagoda, the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Tenzing & Gombu Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center & the Tea Estate. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 04: Darjeeling

Morning visit to Mirk (Mirik-a nest in the hills is West Bengal’s one of the hill resort at an altitude of 1767 metres with its own special charms – 49 km. from Darjeeling. Long lake is fed by perennial streams. A floating fountain in the middle of the lake is a joy for ever and very often you may find the glory of Kanchenjungha reflected in the lake waters. A rich forest with thousands of Cryptomaria-Japanica trees clothes the slopes on the west. A 3.5 km. zigzag foot walk takes you along the lake – a sleek foot bridge connects the garden on the east with the woods on the west. Alone or in company, you are sure to enjoy a boat-ride in the lake). Visit to Thurbo Tea Estates and Tea processing factory (*permissible by the factory manager) and Orange Orchids. Overnight at Darjeeling.

Day 05: Darjeeling – Gangtok (2hrs 30 mins)

Breakfast and proceed to Gangtok, en-route visiting Kalimpong (The journey from Darjeeling to Kalimpong is a beautiful experience. One can stop at the view point of 'Lovers Meet' from where the confluence of river Teesta and Rangeet can be seen.) Visit Durpindara, 7th Mile View Point and Cactus nursery. Reach Gangtok and settle down in your resort. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 06: Gangtok

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing viewing Rumtek Monastery, Botanical Garden, Do-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibet logy, Flower show and cottage industry. Evening free for personal activities & shopping. Enjoy Cable car ride at Deorali market (The cable car is of length 1km and has 3 stop points. Day 05: Kumarakom – Alleppey (House boat)

Today morning we shall take you for a city tour covering -Taj Mahal – a poem written in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built for love, Red Fort – a visit to the fort in ‘Agra’ is a must since so many of the events which lead to the construction of the Taj took place here, Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb – The tomb is of particular interest since many of its design elephants overshadow the Taj. Day starts with morning yoga. Breakfast and proceed to excursion to Glenburn (1h 30 drive from Darjeeling, Glenburn is a small village with tea estates. An old British Bunglow now converted to a resort offers good continental food. The villagers treat the visitors with great hospitality), to explore the rural life and culture of Darjeeling. Though the fort is quite old and may even look so from the outside, it is beautiful on the inside and boasts of various buildings of prominence like the 'Diwan-i-Aam', the 'Sheesh Mahal' and even the 'Sukh Mahal'. Day 05: Jaipur (City tour)

Early morning have your breakfast and proceed for an hour excursion to Amer Fort (built by Raja Man Singh in 1592, it is built in red sandstone and marble and the Maotha Lake adds a certain charm to the entire Fort. Though the fort is quite old and may even look so from the outside, it is beautiful on the inside and boasts of various buildings of prominence like the 'Diwan-i-Aam', the 'Sheesh Mahal' and even the 'Sukh Mahal'. The Amer Fort has influences of both Hindu and Muslim architecture. The structure has four different parts, each with a separate entrance. The main entry to the fort is through the 'Suraj Pol' or Sun Gate which opens up into the main courtyard. This east-facing gate is also the main entrance to the palace and its position with respect to the rising sun is the source of its name.) Enjoy elephant ride at Amer Fort. Day 09: Trichy – Madurai (by road – 2h)

Day 09: Madurai – Periyar (by road – 5h)

Morning transfer to Periyar. Reach and check into resort. Day at leisure. Overnight at Periyar.

Day 10: Periyar

Morning game viewing at the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Visit the Periyar Lake and have unique experience to view wildlife at the close quarters from the safety of a boat. Afternoon proceed for Spice Plantation Tour. While returning explore the local market rich in spice and other vegetations. Overnight at Periyar.

Day 11: Periyar – Kumarakom (by road – 3h)

Morning transfer to Kumarakom – a leisure destination at the bay of backwater offering you an unforgettable experience and views. Reach and check into resort. Evening experience sun set cruise and bird watching at Kumarakom Birds Sanctuary. Overnight at Kumarakom.

Day 12: Kumarakom – Cochin (by road – 2h)

Morning transfer to Cochin. Reach and check into hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing viewing Fort Kochi (situated on the Mattancherry peninsula, is the historical part of the city. Day 01: Cochin

On arrival at Cochin airport, you will be met by our representative and will transfer you to Hotel. Overnight stay at Cochin.

Day 02: Cochin – Munnar (150Km/3.5hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Munnar, Beautiful Hill Station has gentle Hills covered with velvety Tea Plantations, Forests, lake and Reservoirs and a small Wildlife Sanctuary in the Vicinity. Munnar set amid South India, most dramatic mountain scenery. Munnar is the commercial center of some of the world’s highest tea growing estates. Enroute visit Valara Waterfalls and Cheeyapara Waterfalls and later visit Mattupetty, Eravikulam National Park, Anaimudi, Kundala and Eco Point. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 03: Munnar – Thekkady (100kms/1.5hrs)

After breakfast we take you to Thekkady drive through panoramic Western Ghats hills covered with spice plantations and occasional view of waterfalls and streams. Later proceed to visit Elephant ride and evening Cultural Dance Show. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 04: Thekkady – Alleppey by House boat (40kms/ 45mins)

Morning you have the option to take 2hours boat ride in the Periyar lake to watch the panoramic view of the surroundings and if lucky you can see the wild animals. Later after breakfast drive down to Alleppey and on arrival by 1230 hrs check in at houseboat. Rest of the day is leisure at House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and enjoy your evening on the sundeck away from polluted cities and maddening crowd. Only disturbance will be twinkle of a shining star or diving of fish around your to say hello by waving its tail from the lake - Overnight stay in House Boat.

Day 05: Alleppey Houseboat - (159kms/2.5hrs) - Cochin

After breakfast drive to Cochin and have half day sightseeing of Cochin by visiting Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing net & The Indo-Portuguese Museum - Overnight stay at Cochin.

Day 06: Cochin

After breakfast still evening free for shopping and later you will be transferred to the Airport and leave our country carrying with you the magical memories of your tour.
