Formerly known as Jesselton, and now better known as KK, Kota Kinabalu is fast becoming a major city with excellent infrastructure and amenities. Highlights of this city tour include view of the Menara Tun Mustapha – a unique 32 storey building with no pillars, one of the few hanging structure in the world, the State Mosque (closed on Friday), the Chinese Buddhist Temple where a huge statue of Kuan Yin standing tall, the goddess of mercy welcomes and bless to all who visit the temple and shopping at KK Handicrafts Centre (Filipino Market), Frozen Seafood Market and Cocoa Boutique (a shop where you will find many types of chocolate flavour). Overnight at Preferred Hotel.

Day 02 (B, BBQL, D)

Breakfast at hotel. Then we proceed for just 15 minutes away by boat from Kota Kinabalu town to explore and enjoy the beach for the day ~ Manukan Island & Sapi Island. Here you will be at leisure for the rest of the day either relaxing and tanning on tropical white sandy beaches or swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear water of the South China Sea. You may enjoy the others Water Sports by own expenses such as Water-ski, Jet Ski, Wind Surf, Para-Sail etc. Afternoon, transfer to Sapi Island where sumptunous BBQ Lunch await you. Depart from island and return to mainland at evening. Overnight at Preferred Hotel.

Kinabalu Park gazetted in 1964 with an area of 754sq km is dub as botanical paradise. Home to half of the world flowering plants species it is also fame for the Majestic Mt. Kinabalu (4,095m) – Highest Mountain in South East Asia. On arrival at the park, visit to the Exhibition Centre or just step into Wonderland by following any of the numerous trail around park. Then we proceed about 40km east of Kinabalu Park HQ lies Poring Hot Spring, a natural wonder where hot sulphur spring bubbles out of the earth and a canopy walkway (41m) span for 157m from tree to tree, a rare opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of the rainforest. A must visit is the Treetop Canopy Walkway and take a dip in the open air Japanese styled bathtub which the hot sulphuric water is believed to have curative powers. Return to Kota Kinabalu enroute Kundasang Vegetable market. Overnight at Preferred Hotel.

Return to Ferry Terminal in the mid afternoon. Then we drive towards the southern part of Sabah, enjoy the vast countryside view along the way. Upon arrival, have light refreshment with local Malaysian homemade cakes before start the rivercruise. Proceed on a boat cruise along the Klias/Garama River which is a Wetland Forest Reserve. Visitors will have good opportunity of sighting some of the wilife in their natural habitats. Wildlife normally can be spotted are the Long Tail Macaque monkeys, Silver Langur monkeys, variety of birds species and especially the well known Proboscis Monkeys. Continue boat excursion but this time search for the night star of Klias/Garama Wetlands Reserved. The volume of Fire Flies surrounding the Klias/Garama River will astonish you.
